OSTips - How to Create New Date & Time Formats in Drupal

By default, the date field will always display a time even if you restrict the field to just store the date itself. Fixing this isn’t hard and you can create any date format you want with just a few clicks.

thanks i knew this option but in the php documentation there is no option for the French days like 1 ere for English there is. Is there any way on a french Drupal site to show the French date? Thanks a lot
