“I’ll set us down, but I won’t leave my seat, and I’ll keep the engine runnin’. The first sign of trouble, I’m goin’ up. You ain’t onboard when that happens…you’re liable to have a lousy afternoon.”

John’s got the best lines in this movie, man.

How can a song be so upbeat yet so simultaneously hopeless?

R. i.P George A Romero and Joe Pileto

Night set the boundaries. Dawn showed the world collapse and destruction, and Day showed how zombies can destroy humanity mentally and physically.

Such a vibe, it's like your about to go on a holiday on a bright sunny day but then you remember your in a zombie apocalypse

Probably the best zombie movie ever made. RIP Romero and Pilato

I watched Night and Dawn when I was a kid, but this one really gave me nightmares. This was the darkest one I saw at the time. The zombies looked really nasty in this one and scary. & the way people got eaten in this movie was so savage & horrible. Zombies were truly scary when portrayed like this. No matter how dumb they are or how slow, the fact that they never stop or give up & keep coming after you didn’t sit well with me. RIP Romero & Joe Pilato, this movie showed how lack of trust amongst survivors was the downfall 💯

The best and most underrated zombie movie of all time, with a fantastic soundtrack to boot.

This ended up being my favorite of his films. I adored this cast lol, they were fantastic throughout. The Savini remake of Night was also really solid.

The 80s nostalgia of this one and 70s nostalgia of Dawn of the Dead make these movies so much better and somehow much creepier.

Crazy to think that John Harrison did all of this on the old school Prophet 5 synthesizer, from Sequential Circuits.

" Its a dead place Sarah, its a dead place..." Powerful and iconic zombie classic, a brilliant and darkly funny and affecting film.

From what i understand George Romero was going for a kinda tropical carribbean sound for this theme. I almost love it as much as the Dawn of the Dead theme.

I never grew up in the 80s but old horror movies from the 80s are up my ally. If I did grew up in the 80s I would’ve watched this movie in theaters

The Zombies in this film are still the scariest Zombies I've seen on film or TV. Truly terrified me when I was younger how brutal they were when feasting on the survivors.

Total carnage and savagery.
