Funny story!! This video has just popped up, but I found a ball yesterday with a central line and the two of these arrows going draw and fade, and I had no idea why! 😂😂😂😂😂 amazing

Ah man this isn't the way to go to manage a draw or fade shot.
If you want to move up to scratch or better you're going to have to be consistent which you absolutely cannot do by manipulating the club face this way
If you can refine the skill it'll be manageable but over time it will hurt your scores.

To manage the fade/draw you want to keep the club face consistent and instead think about your swing plane, to "effectively" open or close the club face you should be taking a more narrow backswing and a wider swing or visa versa - depending on what you want to do, draw or face.

I had lessons from ex pga tour pro's at my home course and I was struggling with slicing the ball, once corrected the next step was draw/fade which is where I learn the correct way to achieve it.
