It seems like con artists are figuring ways to steal innocent homeowners' properties. Mostly by phony documents or loopholes in the system. Leave the 90-year-old man alone & let him live in peace from unnecessary stress.

I really do hope the Attorney General can help this man not to lose his home to dirty scammers. Tenants who stop paying rent would stand a better chance at staying in a home than someone who had had their deed stolen. This is a big problem in NYC which deserves more prison time if the thieves are caught.

To steal a person deed for their house that they work very hard to buy is damn wrong and wicked, if you cannot afford to buy a house for yourself and your family do not steal other people own, how can you sleep knowing that you are deed crook, ask yourself if what you are doing is right. God commandment say that Thou shall not steal. The judge should give that person twenty years in prison.

Some developers can use bill of sale with false signatures claiming ownership; knowing they have the $ to play the waiting game of missed appointments/stalling, while the true owner can’t afford lawyer/court fees long term. Wishing the 90 yr old owner the best in Housing Court.
