This is my first Souls like game and to say that your builds have helped would be an understatement. I am currently lvl 40 on your barbarian build so I was really looking forward to this next level of the build, so thank you very much

This legit saved my late game strength build. It was struggling a lot, I just seemed to have no benefits to having my big sword. Its damage wasnt all that great (especially against bosses), and the tradeoff of getting hit all the time due to slow swings just wasnt there. After switching to war cry, and the other talismans I actually see a good tradeoff, great damage and knocking enemies, and importantly bosses down. Thanks man. Before this I was considering re-specing now im happy being a stronk boy.

1st off thanks for what you do for the community. Tried a lot of your builds and linked your builds to a lot of friends asking for help early game but bro come on and show us some of those lvl 150 builds for us sweaty nerds out there.

I had shifted from the barbarian build to the berserker build after getting Radahn's twin greatswords, because I couldn't win boss fights using the warcry charge attacks, the jump attacks were easier to land for me. I more or less alternated between Radahn's greatswords and 2x blood claymore/lord's greatsword depending on the fight now.

Thank you. For all of my short comments on your videos, they are all an expression of gratitude.

You’ve (ya’ll) been helping me since DS2.

Just realized that the Regalia of Eochid is what I’ve been looking for; still farming for that chrystalien chakram.

My next build will be STR and I love hammers.

Been thinking about playing a Guts style character, I’ll definitely be trying this out; thanks for all your contributions to the community!

I’m basically running around in full Banished Knight armor with the Wolf Curved Sword for bleed. Really loving it so far.

Even though this is a mid/late build, I appreciate that you blur out the boss names. I don't think I've seen another channel do that.

That's close to my build because i used the barbarian one from you. It was awesome on the horse sending enemies flying like I was Guts from berserk 🙂, also with that charge attack from the roar I passed under many bosses attacks. I just added a little faith so i could cast some buff spells.

My first character was a Str one who I kinda abandond... now I am tempted to play her again! So many builds, so little time to actually play the game!

It warms my cold dark heart to see so many new members to our souls community with the release of this game. Glad to see people coming around.

As much as I like dexterity because of the cool weapons, I like strength because I always think about a massive weapon for killing massive or monstrous enemies being mentioned in flavor text on different weapons throughout the Soulsborne series.

The thing that makes me nervous is im not the best at dodging for the iframes thing. Ive been so reliant on just blocking. This build looks fun and Fex makes it look so easy lol

I was having a hard time progressing because I was learning the scaling system and didn't know what to level up for the playstyle I wanted (smasher-smasher button masher). After respec, I followed this guide at around level 65 and now, at level 135, I am crushing about 90% of enemies I come across and actually feel confident enough to run into areas without sneaking around like a bish. Thanks for the help!

A very similar build served me well through the early-mid game, but as I get into harder areas I just found it a little too slow. Tried your blood dragon build instead and I’m in love. Love these build videos.

One thing I realized after following your Barbarian guide into this one is that it while its busted against certain enemies, mostly large, slow moving and high health ones, it has a hard time with slippery ones that are small and can gap close or juke very quickly (gets common in mid-late game starting with the Rennala fight where I had to spirit tune wolves and use rolling R1s only to not get destroyed by her float away + one-shot barrage of spells move). The insane gap closing abilities of the Colossal Sword+War Cry becomes a bit overkill and even straight up bad in certain cases where the War Cry charging can put you too close to the target and cause the thin Greatsword vertical slash to whiff. This happened to me with the Redmane Castle Crucible Knight (not a small enemy at all) fight and caused a fight-winning trade to turn into a suicide whiff. I think the progression path for this build into later game is to switch to Barbaric Roar with the Greatsword, since its insane range synergizes well with the Barbaric Roar horizontal swipes, and Barbaric Roar benefits from all the talismans you use in your build from my testing. War Cry is better utilized on Colossal Weapons imo, since those have awful range but insane damage/up-close moveset to guarantee the stance break on single targets like bosses.
