Or buy a print from a living artist you admire. Normally artists sell prints pretty economically because they’re trying to make a living from their work any way they can.

I have done this for years!!! Also with sheets!! Also covered a wall with a set of sheets!! I tell everyone to look at curtains first because you get a lot of fabric paying less money!! So if you want to make throw pillows or a chair cover, look at curtains and at table cloths!!

It's a great idea! However it may be cheaper just to buy a new canvas at the hobby store than our thrift stores now😂😂...Sad but true at least in my city.

Here's a thought...while you're at the thrift store, pick up a pretty shower curtain or some pretty kitchen curtains, or a nice, big fabric piece. Why pay full price for the shower curtain unless you just want to? My thrift stores have some nice shower and kitchen curtains (or drapes) and fabric pieces for sewing and quilting.

Start at the centers of opposite sides, pull taut, staple, then work your way out, if you want less wrinkling. Tip from professional artist.
