My 2020 favorite was your interview with Jackie Schalk from Ellis Island History Center.
Wishing you a happy, healthy new year.

Thank you. My 80 year old Aunt wrote down a few names and dates of birth, death, possible location where buried. I did a google search and found an article about my great great grandfather who fought in the civil war. I will try these other suggestions for more research. Happy New Year and congratulations on your successful channel.

Had a great year, with your help, cracked a few brick walls! Next on to Poland for me and those brick wall. Also did the DNA, hoping to find a hidden biological parent.
Thanks again for your dedication.

Happy New Year Connie! Thank you soooo much for what you teach us. I recently purchased FamilyTreeMaker, and I’m doing a ton of cleanup and making sure my two-page documents have page 2. Well, looking at the profiles in a different view I realized I had a lot of clean up to do (ei. Multiple events or names). I’m so thankful you showed us how to attach sources to one name, so that the extras could be deleted! Amazing time saver! So I guess cleaning up your tree would be my personal favorite. Today, anyway. But I need to watch a few of the others again, for review. Thanks again, and have a blessed year ahead. 🥳

So glad I found your channel. I have just resumed researching my ancestry on Ancestry! I have two questions to start. First, if you were to suggest a good starting point on Ancestry for a beginner genealogist, what would it be? Second, how do you avoid going down unproductive rabbit holes? Thanksm
