We are a community based organization providing basketball and lifeskills programs to youth in Kenya. We are grateful to have Masai Ujiri address some of the challenges we face everyday. As an organization we strvie to offer the best basketball training to youth, however the challenge of facilities and funding is insurmountable. Hosting tournaments is a struggle, in some places we have to pay upwards of ksh 15000 per day or higher to rent a basketball court, which is unsustainable. We hope that this interview will reach leaders and inspire them to invest in Kenyan youth & sports.

Imagine a guy from Nigeria praising our country Kenya for all the good things we're blessed to have but we take it for granted. We have talent and we need to nurture that talent as much as we can. Thanks Masai. God bless you and your organization.

Masai Ujiri's comment at 7:37 " There is just something about the air in Kenya, you breathe it and it just makes you feel good. I love it. I feel the same way in Rwanda". East Africa is the Cradle of Mankind and the air will always make you feel good and at home.

Thank you Jeff for this interview. Masai Ujiri is a great inspiration to many and not only us as Africans. What he does as President of the Toronto Raptors and his Giants of Africa mission is truly remarkable. Africa and Africans need more of that. Let's go Africa!

“We the good people have to do more” We need more people like Masai Ujiri in the world. If our leaders can’t get it right, they (He) gets vocal, steps in, articulates ideas 💡, pushes great agendas. Dude is selfless, out here to help, motivate, change perceptions, basically doing everything RIGHT.

Africans are good in sports naturally. If only we can have arenas to play! We could have an African football & basketball teams which will rule the whole world

Our own Kenyan leaders want places like mathare, kibera, mukuru to continue existing so that they can stay in power forever

WOW. Am so proud of the Africa Rising thanks for visiting Kenya where every man or women is always invited. Thanks for African excellence and thanks for hard work that few see before the success. This is the mentality of leaders we should be voting for. African voters should criticize themselves because they voted the bad leaders in.
