In my opinion I don't thing we need to reduce the number of counties I think the best thing to do is to downgrade some counties.Counties with a small population like Lamu and Isiolo can retain their governor but the county assembly can be merged with another county.

When GoK is borrowing recklessly, where are the planners of this Calibre? That's why I say political planners are the one working wth their own agenda in mind. Am sure the referendum that is being advocated for, 90% is political and that is where we need real planners ganging together to enlighten the Kenyans. The Kenyan media is doing more harm than good in most times. In fact, even the quality of journalism has gone down. It is not even a surprise to find grammatical goofs and obvious typos.
So how can they lead the change in their way of thinking? I personally find nothing intellectually challenging in today's media especially the headlines.
