If you are among the many people going on your first cruise, here are the top questions newbies have but are too shy to ask (so I will answer them for you).

One thing I would say on the beach towels: Taking them off the ship, they are heavy. Especially when wet. Highly recommend microfiber towels, which weight practically nothing and take up only a tiny amount of space in your suitcase. Wish I'd known about them years ago.

You can order as many dishes as you want - I would change it to "order as many dishes as you can eat". Don't waste food.

If its very busy, and you see sunbeds with just a towel on them, and stay to observe and no-one shows up for over an hour ( 1 hour is more than sufficient time, to go off n eat or bathe a while ) So if noones shown up after an hour, take the towel off and take the sunbed.

Many people are very selfish and reserve the beds, but never come back or take hours to come back.
Taking the bed is permitted if you've Sat n observed noones been in ages. Ask if you dont believe me. And if I'm questioned by the returning bed hogger after they've not been back for ages, I simply say it was available when I came hours AGO ! I've never had an issue. I only don't do it, if there's a bag there, too. But Sun cream and scarves don't stop me ! Don't let selfish people ruin your vacation.

I just got my first balcony cabin on Carnival. And the table out there is so tiny that it's almost useless. I'm going to try and ask for a larger table. This will be the craziest request I've ever made. 😀

As a newbie on my very first cruise and not knowing the MDR food policy, I can relate to Newbie Question #1. During the entire first cruise, my wife and I noted that the food portion was very small. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food but we were still hungry, so we would followup our MDR dining experience and would sneak into the buffet and had our fill.

Really like your videos! I would love to see a "Cruising for Dummies" type one. I haven't been on a cruise since 1995 so details on the specialty restaurants like can you order anything if you pay the cover charge? How does the my time dining time work compared to traditional seating times? More about the band vs the sea pass card... more detail about the cabins like the ocean view larger vs one with balcony. When is the best time and/or location to go on a cruise that will have smooth seas? Just complete info for someone who basically hasn't been on a cruise. Thank you again 💓 your videos have extremely helpful for me and thanks to you I am just about positive if i book a cruise it will be Royal Caribbean 😊

My waiter’s get to know I order 3 shrimp cocktails every meal and on lobster night I will typically have 6 lobster tails that night. Also I main dining room is where I will try what ever looks interesting and have no shame if I dislike it and order something else. I learned on my second cruise I like duck (never had it before then) main dinning is the place to try new foods you may have been hesitant to try before!

When my wife and I sailed on the Mardi Gras. And on the rot in 2002. We always include our tilt . And everywhere we go we look for a nice chair. Someone has a towel on it. Pretty much everywhere we looked. We really got lucky when went to the main dining. We got our own table. Where cruising on the harmony for our first time plus we’re taking our girls on there cruise on the harmony. So we hope we get our own table. So excited

I get asked the weight gaining question all the time. The truth is, I actually eat better on a cruise than I do on land. There's no processed foods on the ship, so you're not likely to find any greasy foods on the ship, like you do back home. Plus you have all the fresh fruit you could possibly want!
