Chip, released the third installment in a series of diss tracks aimed towards Stormzy and my God, did he go in! So not only did Chip attack, Stormzy's, his hairline telling them to go to Turkey for surgery, but he even said the guys on his team really want to see this clash and I don't think he's cappin'. And lastly man, even went at him in Twi, man said, I'm a use your own language against you. I think at this point, it's just a bit disrespectful. As of right now, we still have no word from Stormzy. Some people say he might have had a dig at chip in his new feature with Ghetts, but I think that's questionable.
So let's see if he does come back. But best know, if he does come back, yo, he needs to come back hard. Utilizing all this commotion. Chip has actually used this chance to promote his new EP, "Snakes and Ladders", which is going to be coming out on the 29th. He released the tracklist last week, featuring 19 songs with two bonus checks, including flowers and his daily duppy. And some of the features that we've seen on the album include Bugsy Malone, Tiwa Savage, Mavado and D Block Europe. So it's exciting to see where this EP is going to go. Do you think it's going to be like a new Drill type Chip or do you think it's going to be a little more experimental? So while we're still talking about musicians and EPS?
Drake has actually now become the first artist to obtain over 50 billion streams on Spotify, 50 billion. With all this been said, though, there's plenty more to expect from Drake, especially now with the anticipation of his new album "Certified Lover Boy", which was meant to come out this month, but has now been delayed. So we're yet to hear when that's going to be released. In some more international news now. Dubai have announced an immediate stop to all live entertainment at hotels and restaurants. And this comes a day after they suspended, all non-essential surgeries at hospitals due to the increase in COVID patients. The increase in COVID cases in Dubai was actually due to a huge influx of tourists who basically decided to use Dubai as their safe Haven amidst this whole pandemic going on.
Right. Right now we still don't know when the restrictions are going to be lifted, but really, and truly I think this is just the sign, you know, telling everyone to stay home and stay safe. So now some exciting news for all you fans of the grand theft auto franchise, there's been rumors and speculation that have surfaced regarding the release of new GTA 6. The release date for this game is still unknown. However, some of the rumors claimed that the new game will feature a female protagonist amongst other exciting things. And knowing Rockstar, it's not really out of the question. So it's all up in the air right now. We're still unsure of how they're going to implement these new features, but it will definitely be interesting to see a female protagonist because I think it will be a huge leap in the gaming the tech industry for women.
So finally, to end on a bright note for all you Pop Smoke fans out there, including me and myself, we'll finally get, see Pop Smoke, in a new light on the big screen. "Boogie", the film featuring Pop Smoke, will be out on March the 5th and the trailer came out already. So you can definitely check that out right now. But the film is basically centered around this Asian basketball player that goes by the name of Alfred 'Boogie' Chin, the film follows Boogie and his dream to play in the NBA while he's still going through the trials and tribulations of growing up in an Asian household in Queens, New York. Pop Smoke plays, his basketball rival in the films. So I think it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the role reminding his fans just how talented he was. news.
