Windows 11 BSOD - I didn't know THIS WAS EVEN POSSIBLE

thx microsoft for making it extra easy to diagnose what is going wrong with a PC... with BSOD error messages that pop up for just 0.1 seconds (better have that slo-mo camera ready to capture the error code in time)

I saw about 3-4 different BSOD error messages during all of this. Most of the time they would be "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED" error code, a couple times it was a WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR and there were maybe 2 more but I didn't record them in time as they only popped up for a split second.

During this entire BSOD process, I went back to Windows 10 momentarily to see if that would make any difference to the frequency of the BSOD errors, but it didn't so after solving the mysterious BSOD issue, I've since gone back to Windows 11 instead of 10 and ZERO bluescreens have occurred since I swapped out that one RGB cable :D

First thing to do is find out whether its hardware or software related. Happens after fresh install? then its hardware.

I also had a problem with my gpu, it keeped crashing randomly.... I tried everything and it keeped crashing until i changed the 8 pin strimer plus to the stuck PSU cable which solved the problem und it has not crashed since!!!! so i decided to check it because it is weird that a cable extension causes the gpu to crash.... so I found out that the first gen (the V1) has these transparent cable extensions which were very bad quality so that they overheated and caused the plastic female connector which connects to the PSU cable to melt!!!! the second gen (the V2) has the normal white cable extensions which are better quality. so if you have the first gen i would stop using them immediately they are a fire hazard!!!!

Every time I plug-in my second monitor windows 11 freaks out and the taskbar keep’s refreshing. I’ve reinstalled windows 11 multiple times and I think it could be my gpu…..? (RTX 3080 FE) because apparently no one else has this problem at least from what I’ve seen. I also think it may be because my second monitor is 1080p and my main monitor is 4k… maybe win11 just doesn’t like multiple resolutions?

Yesterday, I just got my first BSoD ever! I have my PC for 2 years now and this was the first BSoD it got from random. I just logged and started opening programs like chrome, discord, steam and fancontrol. The UAC popped up for the fancontrol and in the middle when I was writing the password, it froze for a second and then bam! The first Blue Screen of Death. My second monitor didn't shut off, there was a frozen screen of my desktop

Why you don't turn off the auto reboot option after bsod in advanced system settings... struggling with the slow mo camera is pointless. And just change the memory dump type to kernel memory dump in these settings.

critcial process died error. some important process had stopped and windows couldnt run without it so it crashed
