This video shows off a playthrough of Rhea Island, but the island is slowly becoming cyber corrupted and Sonic is also losing himself to the corruption. The new dialogues added make this part of the game more impactful and quite sad in Sonic Frontiers PC / Steam.

good use of the rare/unused dialogue for Rhea island tbh, I don’t think it suits a sonic game to have a bad ending but it is cool to speculate.

I love seeing how good people have gotten at this games parkour and platforming, it’s a unique Sonic game in this regard because of it’s complex yet simple platforming gameplay, and for some reason it just feels refreshing after all the other Sonic games thus far idk if that’s just me but yeah

Sonic (The End): "It's so beautiful, my power corrupting everything into nothing."

Tails: "Sonic...?"

Sonic (The End): "I really am thankful for the one you call Sonic. Even if he disgusted me by using the seven powers of chaos and prevented this world's destruction nemerous times. That large scale conflict on thy world with thou and all those other talking vermin, along with the human race, against that insignificant round human that used pieces of my power to achieve his goals of "order"....all of thy kinds conflict against him causing the world itself to quake woke me from my slumber."

Sonic (The End): "Thy hero's archenemy doesn't know anything about order neither does the rest of his disgusting kind. It's all chaos and suffering. Just like thine..."

Tails: "You're one to talk! What have you done to Sonic?!"

Sonic (The End): "He's been brought to order. To naturality. To nothing. After he and his partner defeated my Prophet of Infinity, through such a finite thing such as friendship, enraged I waited by until the very power of chaos he harnessed led him here. Then convinced him that absorbing my power of nothing would help him, so I would be free and have a new prophet in one motion."

Tails: "Prophet of Infinity? Infinite...?"

Sonic (The End): "Out of respect for thy hero, I will ensure EVERYONE'S destruction is as painless as possible. Especially ensuring you're demise is quick. You're so weak and inconsistent as a mortal that the one's who are above even me that watch what you do and what you say, who once loved you. Mock and bully you behind their 4th Dimensional Wall. Not even thy "best friend" ever really did have faith in you over the later years up to this point. I will end your sufferings."

From Tails eyes, tears started to form and trail down his face, he tried to stay strong in the face of the eldritch horror that puppet his best friend, his brother, putting words in his mouth

Sonic (The End): "It's not your fault of course. Thy creator's for all of you started to become careless and neglectful about this world and all of you. Why do you think that Eggman is still alive causing chaos along with other inferior beings that pop up to do chaos.

Like a garden, thy creator's let weeds pop up and continue to propagate. Thy hero who was thy creator's most prized creation, created to maintain the garden, eventually became a failed gardener because he too outside of his control was subtly made to be a joke of a gardener that is gluttonous for a finite food.

Why do you think my Master, the one that so many of you refer to. Once. The Flames of "Hope" was trying to destroy creation. For he prophesized that the state of this world was on a course that not even he could redirect, a fate that was worse than destruction. Thy three heroes unknowingly slayed everyone's salvation. I intend to save all of you, to bring true peace, and to succeed where my master failed. For I am the Apprentice of Solaris. I am your world's true savior."

Mustering up his strength to get through the anguish of losing his friend, through sobs he defiantly said: "If you're nothing? You're not real! Especially something as vile as you! You're not going to accomplish anything!"

Sonic (The End): "Oh Tails. The one's who disgustingly used my power of nothing alongside the power of chaos is bleeding out and consuming this world. And most of all, I'm here destroying whatever frontiers you were going to reach. All of this thanks to your hero doing my bidding!"

There's gotta be a way to spawn cybersquares in objects, maybe by replacing an unused object
That would make the world becoming more corrupted in realtime possible

This really shows sonic's determination and drive to do anything to put his mind to. One thing sonic has over mario is strong writing in games like this

This would’ve been so cool to see in the actual game. As sonic is defeating the Titans, the “walls between dimensions” are breaking. Cyberspace is leaking into the real world. Having Cyberspace take over while The End is on its way would’ve been such a cool finale, especially during Final Horizon.

Imagine fighting Supreme with Starfall Sonic while The End is looming above, and the sky is falling apart due to Cyberspace
