College is a social experience which allows students to gain a Well Rounded Education. Learning how subjects inner relate to one another opens a young mind to make a greater connection with the big picture, this process teaches one to think for themselves and come up with original thought. Students can drill down into a single minded focus with their Masters and PHD but 4 years at university is an opportunity explore and expand oneself, not to mention a year overseas to break down any barriers. The Social part of school is very important as well, learning to get along with others and see that everyone's point of view is valid. Meeting folks from different parts of the country and different parts of the world, cooking together having real interaction is not just for fun it opens the mind and heart of a person to further explore things that are new and exciting to them. College educates much further than the subjects taught in the classroom. I agree college is getting expensive and I certainly agree Mindvalley can enhance an educational experience but saying the university experience is not needed to create the best and brightest minds for the future is a short sighted idea that does not take into consideration the total sum of what gained while attending a university or college.
