This is slightly off topic, but its something i recently learned. I think about it often, i dont know why it eats at me as much as it does.
So, you all know about world war 1. How millions upon millions of people died just because of treaties and differing political views.
Well, did you know that the 3 main powers behind that shit show, England, russia, and Germany. The king, tsar, and kaiser were all first cousins. They grew up together and were all grandchildren of queen victoria.
I dont know why it bothers me so much. Knowing they grew up together. How closely they were related and how horrible that war was. One of the most absurd facts ive learned from history

are you serious ?? people are unhappy in mariage in general, no need for a curse. it's just that before, society was harder so people stayed married even if they weren't compatible. whereas now, people take more time before committing to marriage, and if it doesn't work they break up immediately. as for royal families, they are born with money, power and entitlement, but unlike celebrities, they have a lot of pressure and eyes on them on top. they are famous for excess of everything : alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever else. grace kelly for instance had alcoholism and depression, which led to her cerebral hemorrhage and therefore, the car crash. as for charlene, she also has depression and god knows what else. she literally looks like a prisoner in every single picture. other family members look perfectly happy and healthy and are on every magasine in europe, cause they don't have the pressure of the throne.
