Running with Janji - Interview with Co-Founder Dave Spandorfer

Back on November 3, I had the opportunity to go for a run with Janji co-founder Dave Spandorfer. Dave happened to be in town for a wedding, and he was gracious enough to carve out some time to go for a slow low HR run with me along the lakefront. (Dave is crazy fast).

We had a chance to talk about Janji, where it came from, and what is stands for. Later, I also had the chance to try out a couple of pieces of the Janji line. And so far, from the quality of the product to the direction of the company, I like what I'm seeing.

I love Janji's AFO Orbital singlets. I deal with a lot of chafing issues with most running tops, but not their singlet. I started wearing it as a base for cold-weather running, and it's so light I forget I'm even wearing it!

Got the 3" shorts. Comfiest shorts I've ever worn. Only problem as a student is that I can't afford more apparel from Janji. Also it isn't available in my country but from their website. But I'm sure it will be soon in the coming years

I love Janji a lot!! I have their orange color singlet and a shorts. They looks crazy good. And super light, seamless. The only thing can improve is the top doesn’t dry out sweat very well on hot summer compared to Nike dry fit top. But overall they are really good
