How To Dust and Clean Your Baseboard Molding #cleaning

Here's my simple tips for dusting and cleaning your baseboard molding.

You don’t need fancy baseboard cleaning tools. Use the upholstery attachment of your vacuum to suck up pet hair and dust. Attach a microfiber dusting pad to your flat mop for easy reach dusting or wrap a microfiber cloth around a broom head secured with a rubber band and dust your baseboards weekly.

You don’t need fancy cleaning solutions. Keep it simple with a damp microfiber cloth or a mix of castile soap and water to remove anything that the vacuum or dry dusting doesn't remove.

Viral hacks such as dusting with dryer sheets and diy fabric softener sprays don't repel dust. They actually create a gradual buildup that attracts dirt and dust. They also make it difficult to repaint your baseboards without stripping away the residue first.
