Ross Scott Blazor beyond demo code, dotNet South West
Показать описание
The talk:
Blazor sounded like a great idea to me, I've been working on client side apps since .net 1.0 and it's been painful. However, we now have mature, robust frameworks like Angular & React, so Blazor is very much on the back foot.
It doesn't have the mature ecosystem of other frameworks, so this makes it hard to find best practices, robust architectures and production ready solutions.
They say the best way to learn is to teach someone else, so you will be my rubber ducks! This talk is exactly what I wish I had seen before I started out learning Blazor. I will take you on an accelerated journey of making mistakes, iterating, learning, and ultimately heading in the right direction.
The speaker:
Ross Scott started off as an aerospace engineer, got bored and moved into software development, working on engine health monitoring of the eurofighter. This gave a good grounding in safety and mission critical systems.
In the past Ross has spoken on Android, Typescript, Azure, and various Javascript frameworks. Then life got a bit too busy for a while, but now he is back, learning a new framework and sharing the knowledge along the way. Don't expect an expert on Blazor, but do expect someone that has already made a lot of mistakes.
