Rie has to make 3-course meals with one appliance while Alexis has to turn a common food fancy. Just once, is all I ask. They're both really good chefs, it's like their backs are always swollen for carrying Tasty for years now.

I wouldn't have put the lid on while making the pancakes. Without the lid the water that evaporated wouldn't have dropped onto the batter- hence made them less wet
