Yes, finally! I'm so happy to find a drider/arachne script that has her wrap the listener up _with her body_ rather than in her web. Obviously since a lot of people have arachnophobia, cuddling with a giant spider doesn't sound like the most intuitive thing, but if you could get over that or realize that she only wants to help you, then I think it could be a wonderful experience.

Yeah, I'm weirdly obsessed with this, but I think giant spiders would make surprisingly comforting cuddle-buddies? Their legs and bodies are HUGE and fuzzy, plus their exoskeletons could be quite firm - maybe not as comfortable for some, but the strength of their shell could be _reassuring?_ Not to mention, that she could completely cover me with her big 8 legs and pin me to her body, in a tight, almost suffocating embrace. She can either do this while resting on her back, with her human's body on top, or if the human is feeling a bit more daring, the spider can be on top instead. Her body is probably much heavier than a human's, but once again, that bulk could be surprisingly reassuring, like a weighted blanket of sorts. You know what I'm saying?

Only complaint with this is that it could have used some more sounds, possibly to show how fuzzy she is? Really glad that you explored this, and I hope other VAs/scriptwriters try it out too. I'm just not really into being tangled in a spider's web, and would just prefer to be held by _the spider herself._ I also like how she _reassured_ the listener that their feelings are valid! When I'm feeling down, a coping mechanism I resort to is _imagining that I'm small_ in someone else's embrace. The kind of being that is holding me can vary, but a huge spider is a pretty good one.

Totally open to hearing more of this character if you do sequels, I found her super comforting, and I think it would be cute trying out different cuddling positions with the listener! The sensation of being held by someone is often a very big deal when it comes to therapy and all that, so I think she has the potential to help the listener gradually get a better outlook on life.

I had a several year crush on a classmate because she just gave me a friendly hug as a goodbye. So of course I would be okay with this spider girl hugging me whenever she likes! In fact, I'd encourage her to hug me every day!

While on the topic of being stuck in a web, i dont think it will be very effective against mammals, even if it is very sticky and strong, because mammals have hair and layers of skin surrounding us and not a hard exoskeleton, this will make it easier to escape webs. The reason webs are so effective against bugs is because their outer layers is fixed, and cant be removed without causing very serious damage
