I'm really looking forward to this champ and will probably get him day 1 with the skin.
I play a lot of Heimerdinger and this champ looks like he plays exactly like him expect with better range and wave clear with less cc also there is the fact that I LOVE void monsters and robot skins. I main almost all of the current void monsters and own a lot of robot skins.

I've seen a lot of people say that the two followup shots from his q "fire at a 90 degree angle to each other" but that isn't true, they fire at a 90 degree angle to the original q particle; but, they fire at a 180 degree angle to one another.

Exhaust could work well with him. Not only could it help him lock down a target, he can really slow up a dive with his E + exhaust

I think Vel'Koz is going to be one of those champs where if you suck with him you're gonna get punished for it, but if you get good with him, you can get around his issue of immobility and be able to carry in teamfights. He has long range so he's like a Xerath or Lux where you need to stay back or you're gonna get picked off easily.
