Corporate law much is a better option than becoming a litigation lawyer, in litigation lawyers especially in the initial years, where you may not earn more than your traveling expenses and after 4-5 years you'll just get little experience and you'll not have clients for making clients also you have to spend 2-3 years that's too on your luck . It's advisable to start as a corporate lawyer, gain experience for 2-5 years, and then consider switching to another company for a salary increment. This path can lead to a more stable and settled career. If you are a first-generation lawyer or not financially sound, it's wise to prioritize corporate law over litigation.

If you are a 1st generation lawyer
Then its challenging for you to set up your own practice
And it takes time too
But if you have good skills and quality then after few years you can reach in a good position

No where. Litigation salary for the beginning 5-10 years is 10, 000 to 25, 000 rs per month. Which is impossible to live on, unless you have rich parents.

I once came across a lawyer who fought in criminal cases of India and was so rich that he literally owned a jet and his son studied in one of the most prestigious private colleges of India

For some lawyers best way is to just take money from both parties if either of them is weak and let the case be in the court to eternity.

In India we don’t have any law firm to fight in court for biggest scams happening in stock markets. Ratail investors lost lacs of crores in manipulation but no investigations. This is very unfortunate, its the biggest scope in India if some layer has a courage to fight the case in behalf of stock and mutual fund investors.
