Reno, Nevada is in the northwest part of the state and is known as "The Biggest Little City in the World." The city is close to many attractions like Lake Tahoe and has made a name for itself with casinos, art, and a good food scene. I spent a few days exploring the city with my dad and here are some of our favorite spots. What did we leave off this list? Let us know in the comments.

As someone that was born, raised, and still lives here it makes me so happy to see that someone else sees so many positive things from the city I

Don't forget to go to Scheels, and the GSR has it's own mall, and driving range. Another good spot to eat in midtown is The Laughing Planet. Gold and Silver Diner is really good too!

In terms of outstanding food in Reno I would add Stone House Cafe. It's my all-time favorite restaurant!

I moved to Reno more than 25 years ago and you hit many of the highlights! With the exception of this pandemic year, there is always something going on in Reno ! From the pub crawls to the many events (Artown, Rodeo, Rib Cookoff, Hot August Nights, Street Vibrations, Balloon and Air Races, cultural festivals) and outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, climbing, snowshoeing, kayaking, skydiving) there is never a dull moment! I think I need to do the mural walk as there are several in the video that I have yet to see! Thank you for sharing!

Next time your in town try Scoopers! It's an old fashion local burger place. The original local has the parking spots and walk up window like an old fashion drive up. The food is ok but the milkshakes are TO DIE FOR and they have more flavors than any other place I've seen!

I moved here 4 months ago and love it. Plenty of hiking trails, fishing in the Truckee River or Pyramid Lake, great restaurants, moderate weather and nice people. I have always loved the high desert and was finally able to move here.

I miss Reno, NV. I lived in Reno for many years and my family live there. Its changed a lot thru out the years and I think the changes has made it better. The art is beautiful and the restaurants are the best! I live in Puerto Rico now but I'm going to visit Reno soon. I'm definitely going to try some pastry at that bakery.

I spent 6 weeks in Reno taking a class at University of Nevada- Reno, 26 years. Other than, Silver City, everything looks new since I was there, even the Reno arch. Thanks. I need to return.

Born and raised here in Reno. Only thing that saddens me is how much the mental health system has failed the many homeless people you see downtown. It's depressing to see first-hand

Lake Tahoe is within an hour away and incredibly beautiful. The casinos are fun with mostly good buffets if you are looking for variety and quantity. I love Reno.
