Where there is a carrier, there will be at least one fast attack submarine...

She has a FLEET around Her. That includes Top Combative Warships of all types. That will protect Her with Their All. Example, When I Served on Destroyers in the 60's. Standing Order We would Sacrifice ourselves and take a Hit aimed at the Aircraft Carrier. GOD, Duty Country 🇺🇸

Trojan walls were never breached either until trojan horse came alone. Never underestimate ur enemy you have to prepare daily for any type of an attack including a strapped dolphin with 5lbs of c4 .lol

Since ww2 has anyone really tried ? Perhaps it´s easier than anyone might think ? was´nt there something about a swedish submarine managing to get through in a drill ?

The crew is why u.s. carriers are so powerful. That big metal tub is nothing without its crew. From the snipes down in the mains to the 17 year old ab on deck . That boat cant do crap without the kids who operate its systems.

Basicly any aircraft carrier is hard to destroy

How do you know they're hard to kill? When was the last time someone tried?

They're big and slow and if you punch a hole in them they sink.

"Oh but they have defences!"

So what? How effective are they against a determined enemy attack? Do you know?

I served on the Nimitz. A carrier group is very well defended, and is the most lethal and survivable combat group the world has ever seen. There's a good reason why the US has 10 to 12 active at any one time. They are very hard to kill.

US carriers are about as survivable as any other nation's carriers would be. Sadly very little other countries have carriers to use, test and power project, AKA less time to figure out what works and what does not.

So far, there has never been an all-out attack on a modern aircraft carrier to say for sure how "invincible" it really is.

They should have ww2 manual AA in case the new weapon destroyed

How much it cost for all these to run on a daily basis?

To kill a carrier would be nearly impossible but you could easily cripple it's ability to launch aircraft and it would be severely diminished in it's fighting capacity and no fleet since WW2 has had a crippled carrier during a hostile encounter .

his is another reason why people don't have good things to live a comfortable life. They spend it all on weapons.
