Thank you for this video. Until now I thought it was a disposable boat that can be thrown away after failure. I have a question. Since I bought the version without the sonar and am just trying to install it, could you please make a video on how to do it? I know it can be done because I almost finished doing it myself, but the issue of powering the sonar component that is inside the boat is not clear to me.

OK.. Thanks.. in your other video on maintenance, you say to use Corrosion-X.. But, can you detail HOW you access all parts of the motors to get good spray coverage? Or, would it make more sense to dip a 1/2" wide soft-bristle paint brush and lather it up from the access you have through the top of the boat? (in addition to the prop-side?. I don't relish the idea of having tlo remove the motor breaking the initial factory seals if I don't HAVE to. Thanks

Thank you for your videos. Helps more than you know! Quick question, when changing motors, there are three connections to each one. Does it matter which goes into which, or should we remove one at a time to insure it’s the same?

was thinking could you use electrical tape or some sort of waterproof tape on the top hatch or even under to maybe stop of the the saltwater from getting in?

Hey Smitty thanks for the videos, have you ever had trouble with the remote controller? Mine worked just fine when i cleaned the boat after use and went out the next time and it wouldn't power up. out in two different sets of new batteries not power? Is there a trick to reset this or have you had this happen before?

Hello Sir, thank you for your videos, very helpful. i was hoping you can tell me why my surfer rc boat It wants to turn right as soon as i pull the trigger. i have to counter steer to make it go stright. its fustrating being that its new and has been stiting om my shelf almost a year because i cant get it to function properly. can you please help me. thaank you sincerly Scott H

Approximately how many runs did you get before you had issues? Have you explored upgrading motors, or other parts like going to a different battery type, maybe lipo, thats lighter weight in hopes of increasing performance. Will motor mounts allow for an easy motor swap? Thanks for all the info! I purchased one without the fish finder. Will the weight reduction help performance or is weight savings of no transducer going to be negligable?

Smitty, I watched your great RC Surf Fisher maintenece vids and glad I did, I just bought a RC Surf Fisher, and doing your recommended maintenance, I found the port thru hull wide open, no tubing connected. I corrected that issue and took her out for a first spin. My issue with new batteries in transmitter and fresh battery in boat, as soon as I started moving in the water, the low battery alarms starts sounding. I swapped out both sets of batteries and it did it again, as soon as it went underway. I did not have the fishfinder receiver on this trip, no mention of troubleshooting on this issue, do you have any thoughts?

I need to replace the ESC, but am not seeing how to get the bad one out. No screws or connectors. I almost think it's glued in place. Any suggestions.

Hi, I bought the V2 version of the fishing surfer. When I pull the trigger full thrust forward, the boat turns to the right. Do you know what the issue could be?

Hello, i replaced my ESC now the brushless motor vibrates and gets very very hot (does not function). I made sure all wires are correct. And isolated the problem to the ESC. What do i need to do to fix this?
