A high school teacher said to his class, by the time Alexander the great was a few years older than you he had conquered the known world, a student then said, but he had Aristotle as a teacher, we only have you .

The fact that Alexander the Great's name is remembered even 2000+ years after his death is mindblowing...

This narrator was born to narrate. Perfect pitch of voice. The serious and heavy inflection of words 🤌🏻

Can you I imagine that conversation:
"Where is my husband?"
"He died in battle."
"Where is his body?"
"We used it to build a bridge."

Needless to mention that the Ancient Greek Kingdom of Macedonia was among the participants in the Olympic Games, together with all other Greek City States and Kingdoms of Greece during the Hellenistic era.

Stretching from cities as far as Neapolis, Croton, Taranto, Syracuse in Southern Italy to Troy & Ionia in Asia Minor, Miletos, Ephesos Antiochia, the Pontus region in the Black Sea, Cyprus, Cyrene in Libya and Alexandria in Egypt.

Sadly this video didnt express the sheer extent alexanders mom played in securing his position at home it was her who had everyone killed and her who kept everyone in line through his campaign his mom was actually crucial to his success

Learning about Alexander in college gave me a midlife crisis. This man was conquering the world at the same age where I’m in a battle to not eat too many ramen packets in one day

Without a doubt the greatest military campaign led by a single leader in history, but the ending to the video gave me goosebumps about how the old era will eventually be overshadowed by the curtains of a new era.

Achilles: Imagine a king who fights his own battles, wouldn’t that be a sight.
Alexander: Hold my crown

Imagine having a teacher like Aristotle, at his time probably considered a just a popular philosopher among many others, now one of the most important thinkers in our history.

As a Greek man I want to thank you all for your nice comments for our Greek symbol.Although our gorvenors and almost all western leaders are fighting to vanish us we are still here and we are trying to survive. The big property that take from our Grandfather Alexander was not gold or glory but some tiny piece of his spirit and that is the reason of the hate against us.
