Releasing the feeling is where it gets confusing. As I'm in the feelings, I have thoughts occurring at the same time feeding the feelings, which could be anger, frustration, fear, etc. Do I try and ignore those thoughts? When I've done that, I do calm down quickly, but I'm not sure if that's avoiding and suppressing?
