Great vid mate best I've seen on the makro racer 2. I got a makro 2 and what a beast. Pulled gold stater at 14" . Silver sceatt 13" after mates deus had swept ground. Pulls silver every outing.
Think you nailed the settings . I Run around the same just tweak as I go...

your bang on the money. the racer 2 is top class. had henry viii silver groat in same hole as big nail. picked out the coin no trouble. 9 inch down .

Excellent review just bought one got 2 hammered yesterday with it on a field that i had done to death with a Golden Mask, so yes well pleased with mine and so easy to set up, another plus can buy from British dealership.

Hi my Stewart Devizes Wiltshire just watched your review on makro racer 2 Did a wonderful job there really enjoyed it I have only being Detecting about 18 months got a couple of detectors euro tech also Golden mask uk 1, edition from Bulgaria, , found lots of normal coins but not yet a single hammerd But I did found 3 Roman coins in one hole 7 weeks ago took them to Devizes museum they dated them268 270 Emperor Victorinus that was on ploughed fields soft soil But on pasture both Detectors don't do so well, ,,, That's why I have been thinking of buying the Makro racer 2 it's being on my list for the last 6 months my friend has got one its just Brilliant he said best Detector he's ever had and he's being Detecting about 10 years trouble is I am not techno. Mineded so if I get one soon I worry if I will be able to set it up right But I will get one very soon many thanks Stewart Devizes wilts I have just Subscribed take care

Excellent review and tips on the racer 2 . We where at a dig and we did a test hole Cartwheel penny at 14 inch . Ctx nothing Deus iffy, Racer2 banging signal even 6 inch above  Very very impressive machine . Lifted it to 12 inch Ctx hit it lost is 1 ince above Deus got it and 3 inch above Race hit 12 inch above  wow . Opened a few eyes  A real tool .

Thanks for this, answered a couple of things l was confused about, in particular l was worried about iron sounding like a good signal with an id of 4. Would it be detrimental to notch out targets up to 4/5?
