I had a 5x (well I still have it), it bootlooped just within its first year and had its motherboard replaced.

I'm pleased to say that it survived being my daily driver until 2018 when I upgraded to the Pixel 2.

I had the 6P, it died and Google sent me a OG Pixel to replace it.

Finally a "old" phone or more like different phone video. I'm getting so sick and tired of seeing different videos of the same phones. Samsung vs Apple or Google vs one of those two. I know this is a old phone. But there are other great phones out there to review. Damn.😒

At the time, it was the first time I bought a phone outright instead of taking a carrier deal. I was trying to choose between the Nexus 5X and Motorola Moto X. The Moto X was at a price too good to pass up and I ended up happy with my choice. The large screen and front facing speakers were great!

Both my mother and father each had one of these phones. Both succumbed to a power button issue, where it would cause the phones to bootloop.

Thank you for making this. So much nostalgia!

I like the 5x photos more than current flagships. The photos feel more like a camera and less like an HDR processing machine

You have one that doesn’t boot loop? I’m surprised!

You are fortunate if you could use it after 2 years!
Mine went into bootloop in less than 2 years and both Google & LG denied for a free repair or replacement!
Decided to bid farewell to Google phones for ever

My dad had a nexus 5, but had to replace with an s20 5 years ago after the power button broke. The phone would keep restarting and turning off, making it completely unusable

I still have my Nexus 5. Trying to figure out what I can do with it, if anything fun exists these days.

I had and still have the Pixel 6 sitting in my closet. I loved that phone, but at the time it seemed HUGE. Funny how my current phone has a 6.7 inch screen.

I wish this phone would get a new version with the same design but with updated tech (but with the bezels, single camera, rear fingerprint sensor and front speaker(s))

5X and 6P were not the only phones from 2015 that suffered from overheating and boot looping, that was basically every android device with Snapdragon 808 or 810 chipset. This is why Samsung never used them in 2015 and used their own Exynos chipsets in every region.

I had it for a short while. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy S4, I thought I’d give a mid-range device a chance but I didn’t like it and ended up getting a Galaxy S7 when it came out.

A lot of them didn't make it because of the faulty solder on the main chip. I'm still using my 5x. You don't even want to know how many I've been through 😂
