Couldn't be an Nvidia update. It was only four megabytes instead of 400 MB.

That LNK file sitting on the desktop that opens a PowerShell window should be a red flag to the average user.

Hello PC Security,

Do you have a video where you show the kinds of tools you use in your sandbox environment? If not, would you ever consider making one?

Thanks and keep up the great work

Very informative as always, Sir. Damn defender is sleepin', deleting that file is enough to get rid of it?

Does anyone know if a mix of malwarebytes and bitdefender would be good for protecting myself against these things? I install a lot of exes and want to be best protected. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The possibility of the existence of malware is an operating system architecture and hardware architecture issue.

So... If you don't open the LNK file you don't get infected? I didn't see how to get rid of the bumblebee virus...

Would you not be able to analyze process manager with a few well thought out filters to see if there was any activity deemed sus?
I realize the average guy wouldn’t obviously know (or really even want) to go through that much trouble for something so trivial.

Thought about your sponsor, but the file sizes (which your never sure what you'll download) limitation is the off put.

My ESET has warned me several times that Nvidia drivers are suspect. I also downloaded the driver directly from Nvidia. Of course, it could also be an error on ESET's part.
