What I would recommend for anyone interested in a bootcamp, make sure you spend at least 3 months learning on your own for free. Once you really grasp HTML, CSS, JavaScript, you will be able to handle the bootcamp while working full-time. Bootcamps go so fast that if you get stuck, they will already be in 3 different languages by the time you are understanding one of them. They are worth it, but only once you really have learned a good amount on your own. Codecademy and freecodecamp are good resources to help learn on your own.

I just got done with this portion of the course and felt exactly the same. Other students felt the same frustrations that you expressed

I use sql everyday at work and I am still learning more and more.
Backend alone is very hard, I don't think people understand.

It gets tough. I had moments of feeling like I wasn’t going to be able to do it… but I finished!

I was thinking about starting the full stack course this month, but now thinking I may just continue learning on my own for a few more weeks

I consider myself pretty smart getting 100s in English studies and sciences but even I would stay away from backend if your self taught and didn't go to college for a cs degree front-end looks a a whole lot easier less to learn easier to grasp I would honestly just focus on one type of development until you grasp it after that everything should be easier but wtf do I know I'm just learning this shit to lol

I thought Python data structures and algorithms were hard but yeah it was tough sometimes for me what I did was I had to consult udemy as well.

I had the same experience with the bootcamp, the videos are so lacking. Yes we do get support but it's so self paced and you have to learn everything on your own from either youtube, udemy, coursera or whatever other platform you can choose. The speaker in the video is so fast, and the explanations are lacking. I wish they had a more interactive video platform that you are able to answer questions in the video and also do exercises in the video, just more interactive experiences in general. These boot camps are tough for beginnners and very fast pace.

I am watching videos, trying to figure out if I should sign up for the next bootcamp because I had such a tough time with JavaScript

Man I’m considering getting into the Python backend course… I’ve been learning Python on my own for a little over a year, I’ve taking Udemy courses but I need something more structured and been able to reach out for help when I need… I don’t know, o lot of mixed opinions on this course.
