Creating A Weathered Look On Stainless Steel

I need to do this on a stainless counter top. Does this have any wear properties like will it easily rub off with use?

If I want the second look do I need to do the first process of sanding and heating, and apply the presto stainless black, or do I have to start with the first item, to get the more rustic look before applying the second product? I want to do a 45 foot bar in my establishment but I want to be sure it’s done correctly. I love the final look!

What exactly do you mean by "hitting it with slate black?" What are you spraying it with? Would love to learn yhis technique. Nothing is really explained here. Please, give us more information.

Does this reduce the metals resistance to rusting? Can you apply a clear coating of some kind to protect against weather?
