The other Wybie literally had his mouth sewn with stitches by the Beldam so that he smiles forcibly. And at the end of the movie, when Coraline THINKS she's back in the "real" world with her "real" parents, you can see that her "real" father literally has had his mouth sewn with stitches by the Beldam so that he smiles forcible. It's not her "real" father and her "real" mother. It's the Beldam posing as Mel Jones. She re-created the other father and made him look like Charlie Jones (she even made herself look like Mel Jones with normal eyes instead of button eyes on the other side of the tunnel to lure Coraline into a trap and then morphed back into the Beldam, remember? So she CAN make herself and the other father look like Coraline's real parents with normal eyes instead of button eyes) and made him smile forcibly.

Coraline never escaped the world. She's ignoring uncomfortable truths and things that are off during the fake "happy ending" scene, because she's got everything she's ever wanted (her "parents" paying attention to her, her "neighbors" calling her Coraline instead of Caroline, gardening, and doing activities with her "family", etc) and eventually it'll be too late for her and she'll die and end up like the ghost children as the Beldam feed on her lifeforce and feed part of it to the "cat" who is the physical embodiment of the other world's evil spirit (that's the Beldam calls him Vermin, he's a very ancient parasitic evil entity who feed on her lifeforce and that of the kids, she hates and fears him, the Beldam is just a puppet living in the throat of the true monster, the "cat" IS the other world itself, the portal is his throat and the well his esophagus), or she'll become the next Beldam and spend eternity luring and murdering little children to feed herself and the "cat" as her body rot away without dying just like the previous Beldam. So no, this story doesn't have a happy ending at all.
