Making an 80s vibe demo

I’ve been in the process of recording demos for a new EP and absolutely loving the whole process of turning little riffs into full-fledged songs. Recording it all myself and listening back has helped me be really intentional about leaving space and thinking about where new colors should come in. I’ve been thinking of making more videos where I show all the layers 🖤 here’s a preview of a song!

i remember in the beginning of 2022, i was really depressed and at my lowest, i’d go out everyday because i hated being home . i would go to the beach and walk while listening to your music, specifically odessa and good morning where my go to’s because they gave me a feeling of hope as i’d stare at the waves . it’s safe to say your music saved my life then . this song gives me that same hopeful feeling . i don’t go on those walks anymore as i no longer feel like i did but i do miss them, when/if this comes out, i promise i will go on them again, but this time while i’m in a much better place than i was in 2022. thank you yvette . <3
