Biomerge is still to this day the most beautiful digivolution in the series. The whole idea of fusing with your digimon was such a wild concept that amazed me when I was a kid. The mysterious yet hopeful music that plays during it(especially during rikas), art, and the entirety of tamers itself and how dark the season was compared to some other seasons really made this my favorite.

My favorite biomerge has to be Rika's. For a split second she hugs her digivice to her chest. I always felt this little detail was a callback to her original relationship with Renamon. She was cold and heartless, barely even caring for her Digicompanion. Now she's holding the physical manifestation of her bond (the digivice) with Renamon to her heart. As if making a wish for their love to give her strength. This strength is of course Sakuyamon.

Biomerging is such a cool concept, and I can somewhat see why the creators of the Digimon series entirely do it more because they were basically showing naked kids, but at least they were somewhat censored. But that doesn't take away from the fact the Biomerging with your Digimon partner to go Mega is still one of the best concepts in the series that should have revisited at least one other time outside of the Tamers series.

EDITING 1 YEAR LATER:
Now that I think about it, it even fits the tone at the time by which BlackAgumon biomerges into Machinedramon!

I think I might prefer the dub theme over One Vision for this one.

I prefer this version over the sub. Feels more angelic and powerful. One Vision is still cool, but it didn't quite fit this. Also, calling it Biomerge Digivolution instead of yet another Matrix Digivolution is awesome.
