Allods Online Gameplay - First Look HD

Allods Online is an impressive free to play fantasy MMORPG with some Sci-Fi elements that fans of the genre's most successful titles can enjoy.

One of the best things about Allods is that the first few levels very accurately portray the combat for the rest of the game. Although the combat is much easier and with much less spells, at least one of the first tier of spells you learn in levels 1-10 will be your main spell for the rest of the game.Your spells increase in power as you do, so you don't feel like you played an entirely different class in the beginning of the game than at the end.

even with all of this i can say that Allods was an amazing experience. and I don't regret spending the amount of money i did while I enjoyed playing.

let just say I could've SLI'd my single gtx570 with that money, then again i was also funding my nephew's character spending just because i could :)

I like them because they look like they've started to play the game for a sec so that they know what to do and tell you about it. MMOhut just does the starting quests and he tells you what he's doing...It's like watching my brother or friend play a game for the 1st time.

Everything about this game--the plot, the atmosphere, the controls, the skill system, the combat, the variety of things to do, the community, and especially the endgame--is absolutely perfect. Allods has taken elements from every good mmo and turned it into the best mmo possible. My only gripe with it is the cash shop, which, unfortunately, ruins the entire experience for me.

@SpiffyHarry With possibly the most unique endgame in any fantasy mmo. You run instances and such to get the best equipment, like other games, but Allods offers much more. You can participate in extremely fun and rewarding pvp and pve minigames, but Allods' most distinctive feature is that the game is played on a series of large islands(allods) suspended in the Astral(energy). And in the endgame, you can own, upgrade, and fully customize your very own ship for doing instances in the Astral.

I started playing Allods right after OB came out, and here's a few things i can say about the game.

pre Gipat patch: leveling was actually adequate once you understand how the fatigue system works, i would have actually considered someone stupid to buy exp scrolls...
level cap was 40 which was not difficult to get to, even as a casual gamer, at this point you only needed to spend real money or farm gold to buy perfume to be more effective in pvp, not necessary but nice to have.

Definitely one of the Best Free to play MMORPG game i ever played... by the way, they fixed the exp rate, it's easier to level up now, specially in low levels of course...

post Gipat leveling was the same 1-40, it wasn't until you got to this point that reaching the next 2 levels actually took some grinding, even then doing heroic dungeons on a daily basis with little grinding could get you to lvl 42 which was the max lvl would only take a few days.

also with this patch the rune system became the main advantage in pvp, this is where pay to play came into the equation, you could then pay real money to craft high lvl runes or farm lots of gold.

The game is allright and I loved playing it. Only problem is that with some things you are forced to buy ingame from this marketplace. What I hated most was that I had to feed my mount. This mount I bought ingame and the food for the horse could only be bought ingame on the online marketplace

@14mead Ok thanks for that clarification. I played before, but I exaggerated the number since I forgot. All I remembered was that the levelling for a low character is quite slow compared to other MMOs
