Maybe they should focus on not charging so much money for mil-spec rifles.

They’ve gone bankrupt too many times and this is just another one of their bad decisions.

I'm not sure what kind of Intel Community you're tapped into, but Guns & Gadgets always seems to be the first with all the important or impactful firearms news.

LMAO at these guys going after “government contracts.”

“Hi, I’m Colt. I’m going to cut off my right arm so I MIGHT get some action with my left.”

You mean colt will supply military with more long rifles to use against American citizens

Any gun for sale to the government should be available for the general public to purchase.

Personally I don't know why anyone would pay for a colt when there's way better stuff to be had for the same or less money!

In the 80s and 90s they changed fire control group pin size and takedown pin size also removed bayonet lug. I wouldn't have 1.

Colt is a company out of Hartford CT, where they were told they weren't even able to sell those rifles in that state and haven't been for a long time. The real issue here is they own the design and patents from Armalite. Legally they are the only ones that can call their gun an AR-15, every AR built by anyone else is considered AR "style".

If Colt wants to cut their own throats, I say be my guest. It’s their loss.

Who’s government contracts are they trying to land? Now I’m really glad I went with an M&P15.
