this guy has appeared in my other videos, and I thought this meme would be perfect for him! vis plays a big role in aiden, eiya, and kane's backstory, as he is a primary figure in their lives (not in a good way)
aiden was under the care of vis' brother when he was born, eiya is vis' daughter, and vis is kane's mentor

I wanted this video to show how vis' extremely poor treatment of these three affected them differently. vis projected a lot of personal things onto aiden due to his familial history. (this mixed with aiden's naturally defensive and angry nature didn't make the encounter go very smoothly, and aiden internalized some of the things vis had said to him)
vis was neglectful and scornful towards eiya, spurring her jadedness and rebelliousness.
and he was a very hard, strict, and ruthless mentor towards kane, which made him dread the thought of becoming ruler (which was what he was training for)

vis is a paranoid, awful dude who thought everyone was out to get him- and his line of thinking ended in his demise.

PLEASE do not take any of my runes videos as completely canon!! things are subject to change as the comic continues. if it isnt in the comic yet, dont assume its going to 100% happen in the comic.

this deserves WAY more love from the community. i myself animate, and ik that it's a very long and time-consuming process. this probably took a long time and a lot of a effort to make, and to see it bloom with comments and likes would be really cool! amazing animation, simple but to the point.

So I'm curious about Kane and why he was to become ruler. It seems that everyone, or at least Laxo, hates the one with the halo around their head, I assume because they didn't help him when he needed them most (in the enemy meme). Kane hates the halo person too because he was forced to become ruler (I forgot which video that was, I'm wanting to say Jealous or something).
