Your review was extremely timely. My wife and I have a deck to clean as well as siding on our fairly large house. Based on the amount of work and your review, we bought a CAT-1800 unit. It came today, and while we've only used it for an hour or so, it works great! Previously, based on your recommendation, I bought a car headlight restoration kit which also worked great. Todd, I (and I am sure many others) would like to see a comparison of "consumer grade" carpet cleaners (not professional steam extractors). Comparing Hoover, Eureka, Bissell and even Rug Doctor, for cleaning ability and durability would be great. It would be nice to see how these carpet cleaners work on "real world" dirt, as opposed to the staged settings the manufacturers show them working in. Personally, I have always had good luck with Bissell, but it would be great to see how all of the leading brands perform against each other. Just a suggestion. Take care.
