Thank you for not editing this to make people look like idiots! Finally a video where people know a decent percent of the answers.

So If you'd like me to make any more videos, because I've been thinking about doing so, please reply to this comment telling me what type of video you'd like to see. If it's more like this one, then say the topic that I should be asking people about.

It's nice to see a video like this that doesn't edit out all the correct answers, and even shows some people answering nearly all the questions correctly (the guy in the green shirt). Restores some faith in humanity.

thanks for leaving the ones they got right in! the vid was more enjoyable knowing that it was legit and not edited for effect.

I gotta admit, I didn't know when Wisconsin became a state. That's a harder question though

"Who did we fight in the War of 1812?"

"Is there a name to this war?"

ANSWER KEY
1. 0:00 – 0:53 — Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, and Petition. You forgot Petition.
2. 0:53 – 1:28 — The people on Mount Rushmore from left to right are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
3. 1:28 – 1:45 — The three branches of government are Executive, Legislative, and Judicial
4. 1:45 – 2:11 — Wisconsin became a state on May 29, 1848. The first state, Delaware, became a state on December 7th, 1787, and the last, Hawaii, became a state on August 21st, 1959.
5. 2:11 – 2:40 — The war of 1812 was fought between the United States of America and the United Kingdom, its North American Colonies, and it's Native American allies.
6. 2:40 – 2:50 — The Civil War was fought between the Union and the Confederate States. (North vs South)
4. 2:50 – 2:56 — Wisconsin became a state in 1848 and I already answered this one.
7: 2:56 – 3:04 — There is no official language at the federal level, but most speak American English.
8. 3:04 – 3:38 — Barack Obama is spelled B-A-R-A-C-K O-B-A-M-A
9. 3:38 – 3:48 — Pearl Harbor is a lagoon harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, west of Honolulu.
10. 3:48 – 4:10 — To be the President of the United States, you have to be 35, a natural born citizen, 14 years a resident of the United States, and not have been President for two terms already.
11. 4:10 – 0:35 — There are 49 States in the Continental US, that is on the Continent of North America. That includes Alaska. The Contiguous US has 48 States. Alaska is the only state that is part of the Continental US and not the Contiguous US. Sneaky.
12. 4:35 – 5:06 — The man on the $20 bill is Andrew Jackson, but that will soon be replaced by Harriet Tubman.
13. 4:10 – 5:20 — The number of stripes on the United States Flag is 13, 7 red and 6 white. Also has 50 stars and a big blue rectangle housing those stars.
14. 5:20 – 5:30 — alright thanks bye

What are the chances that someone who shouts "I know this! I know this!" actually knows it?

The only one I didn't get was the Wisconsin question.

Our biggest problem is that we are more interested in people who are ignorant than those who are not.

Finally, one where pretty much all the questions are answered correctly!

These are some of my favourite videos on YouTube, not that I take delight in other peoples lack of knowledge for their own countries history but it is quite astonishing in a country that has an above standard education system how many Americans don’t know the basics 🤣

That's a very young Steve McQueen asking the questions.

Good videos. Only suggest to improve the audio (mic), state the questions clearly and every time you approach new people and/or type the question to know the subject matter.

I love this type of video. It pleases me to know that our cousins across the pond can laugh at themselves too. My Son tells me I "bum out america" and that's why i usually know most of the answers but these questions WERE quite tough :-)

a fun fact for the stars of this and it's producers.. people came out here to California to make movies because they did not want to go the proper route by petitioning the blanket patent on the motion picture!! It was held in Washington D.C. presumably..
