My xbox series controller stopped turning on since last night, about an hour before that happened it worked perfectly, I always use it connected with a cable and something similar had already happened to me with another controller, it happened to me that when connecting the controller my keyboard and mouse turned off and the controller did not turn on, I tried trying different cables and I managed to turn it on by not fully connecting the usb c to the controller, The problem is that after a while the controller would turn off, I stopped using this controller for a few months and now that my current controller I stop turning on the old controller works perfectly, I thought that maybe using the wired connected controller is what generates the problem but I really have no idea and it would be silly if it was like that (when I use the Xbox I always have my keyboard and mouse connected because I play fortnite with them, I'm adding this in case something similar happens to you)

Guys heres what I did, plug out the power of your xbox and plug it right back in, after that turn on your controller, Im not saying this will fix your issue but it worked for me

I fixed my stick drift only to kill the ability to use batteries! Someone help :( I opened my controller and it only works if I plug it into charger

Well that didn't work at all. My controller, only 10 months old, will not turn on. Thanks to Microsoft for making such shoddy products I guess.
