iCarly's Most Disgusting Scenes by Dan Schneider

#DanSchneider has created some of Nickelodeon's most iconic kids televisions shows. These shows have reached across the world and had international impact on millions of peoples childhood. As these viewers have grown up they have started to notice how wrong some of these scenes were from these shows. #iCarly is one of the most feet ridden and uncomfortable programs ever aired on television and there's 1 man to blame.

Even as a kid, I noticed that there was an unusual amount of bare feet/closeups on toes in iCarly and Victorious (though obviously I had no idea why) and when I re-watch it knowing what Dan was motivated by... yeah it's extra weird and noticeable.
I think a much bigger issue though is the pressure on the girls who were in all of these shows to be really skinny- Jennette McCurdy has talked about her having an eating disorder due to the entertainment industry she was involved in, and I think some of the other girls from the Nick shows have talked about how they were expected to be really slim and to look good.

The age gap in Hollywood is definitely an issue. One of the worst ones to come to mind is Drew seeley and Selena Gomez during another Cinderella story. He was 25 and she was 15.

As a young girl, I never thought 25 was old, even at age 13. I dated an 18 year old and said the highest I would go was 25...I am now 28, and I can't believe how YOUNG 13-18 really is....I would never take advantage of someone of that age, like older guys did to The dude KNEW better, I know it. If I could tell all the girls just how old and gross these guys are I would :(

does all of this make anyone else so genuinely sad because these nickelodeon and disney channel shows made my childhood and to find out what was actually going on is so disgusting and heartbreaking :( i feel so terrible for all of the actors who went through this, no one should have to and despite the truth being so devastating, i’m so glad that sl04n is bringing awareness to this!

13:14 aw hell no. Gonna expose myself here, but I’ve sold shoes and socks on a fetish website and one part of marketing is telling people how long you worse them and “sweated” in them. The longer you sweated in them the more of a turn on it was to the people with a fetish who would buy them. Just makes that clip all the more sus to me.
