Japanese Indigo Dyeing

The last samurai visits Konki Senshoku, an indigo farmer in Shiga Japan and experiences traditional indigo dyeing. At Konki Senshoku, you can bring your own clothes and dye. Konki Senshoku has 200 years of history and you can try indigo dyeing at its traditional Japanese farmer's residence. He also talks about the tradition of Japanese indigo dyeing.

That's quite a physical process. So it took you like 10 minutes to dye? But then it needed to be washed and dried.

I love it how the stitches and buttons are still white. They haven't been changed at all, amazing!

ナイス！I tried indigo dyeing also but at Aizumicho Historical Museum in Tokushima in 2013 (But I tried just a face towel and it had like tie dying patterns)
