the sentence "all he has to do is waiting" makes me want to laugh and die. Well played

I like birds very much but man after I see vids like this, I realize regardless of their current size they still got that dinosaur instincts 😂

Very odd narration in this video. 'Two squirrels on the go' and 'they were busy to dig' and 'almost invisible' and 'enjoys a game of time' and 'all he has to do is waiting' etc. Bizarre.

A mix between fact and fiction is an understatement.

Silly bird doesn't know that his "gopher" is a chipmunk.

A truly astounding combination of atrocious editing, laughable commentary and disregard for facts. The subject matter deserves more respect than this. And oh, no bones were cracked

Herons are rarely able to catch squirrels; if the catch is not right on the head, herons cannot tolerate the sharp bites of the squirrels and they let the prey go.
In this video, heron is the winner.👍💐
(In the thumbnail, it is a rat that the heron holds).

So why are there so many YouTube videos now that are obviously written by non-English speaking people but are still narrated in poor English by English speaking people?

Chipmunks. Not squirrels. Not gophers.

Heron's got a beak and knows how to use it.

Fascinating watching dinosaurs at work.

This video has a lot of true facts, but they are worded in such a weird non-scientific way it is jarring. I guess it makes it easier to understand.

In animals we hear of bite-force, but I think some birds also have that.
1. How a squirrel struggles but cannot free itself from the grip.
2. How thin the bill of this bird to give such grip.
3. Finally, my little physics tells me that when using elongated tools, the nearer the object to the source of power, the more powerful the grip, and the further, as in this case, at the tip of the bill, the less powerful the grip, but this bird has it another way...

Why does it seem, like some dude in a tropical shirt is standing nearby; speaking into a mic. Imagine if his gf said lunch is ready, he'd narrate his actions same way.

I could “gopher” some lunch right about now…says the Heron…🤓

I shot a heron once
It tasted good
I had to do it to save a familys puppy
The puppy was shaken but unharmed I shot it before he could touch him
