I have one doubt buddy....!
That is get data from existing file and store into property file after that add some extra properties then restore into existing file right that is the process were you thought but my doubt is fileoutputstream class why create only above of properties . Store() method, incase create the fileoutputstream class starting of the method then data wouldn't retrive back..? Is there any resource leakage issue..? Anyone pls let me know I'm confused...

If a property file has 100 key value pair's but mistakenly a duplicate key updated.
Is it possible to identity a duplicate key out of all 100 key value pairs ?
When we code prop.load(fis);
The load method is keeping only one key out of all duplicated keys in property object..
