Note New unofficial series intro concept. Space the final Frontier for Dinner!
Keep in mind this is just a bit of fun and not real even though Bryan Fuller said he loved it ! This intro in no way solidifies what the final show will be about I think Bryan mostly got a kick out of the actor choices Red Shirts Will be pushing up Daisies or disappearing

Short, sweet, direct and to the point with nothing but eye candy.
I love it.

Guys - I would REALLY love to see this one come about. There are some interesting shorts popping up on YT that I think would have a real run at some genuine success. Consider- if you WERE able to find a way to tell short-short stories in the time frame allotted by the GUIDELINES, and find a way to tie arcs together without doing the "...Continues" thing from episode to episode, you might REALLY have something. There actually _IS_ a format in _written_ Science Fiction, called the Short-Short Story, where certain liberties are taken with the notion of making effective use of such things as stereotyping to compress the need for character development ("Scotty" was used in this exact way because Scottsmen who designed the early Tall Ships often accompanied them on their voyage, and Bone, -similarly, as the "nickname comes from the old southern construct from the civil war of "saw-bones" which also explains the need for him to have a southern accent), allowing movement directly to the point of the story, and also skipping much of what we'd normally get in a story-intro just suggesting the build-up of the premise for the same reason, AGAIN moving to the heart of the point. Research Heinlein's comments on the Short-Short, and Asimov's as well. You might find Asimov's by researching historical references to "the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction" where you'll discover that along with his BROAD accomplishment as one of the Classic Masters, he ALSO wrote EXTENSIVELY articles on Science Fact, having penned a regular column in that magazine for YEARS ! Anyway, to my point: They BOTH commented that they fully realized the Short-Short was FAR more difficult to pull of successfully that a TYPICAL short Story (corresponding directly with the episodic nature of TOS), but when done WELL could have an amazing impact on the reader. This _I_think_ could translate to the format we're seeing emerge here, and maybe effectively EXPLOIT the guidelines ? Along with THIS idea, There are MANY concepts presented and developed by the Classic Grand Masters that WITH PERMISSION could be Modernized and Adapted for THIS format, and if successful, could provide a WEALTH of fresh STRONG material, in the context I'd say, of the dearth of original ideas in MAIN-Stream movie making these days ? Consider- Roddenberry HIMSELF said that he was inspired to Trek by the Heinlein "Patrol" series of Short Stories. I was TOO, and recognized IMMEDIately some of the common themes and execution. Just some input, I thot I'd share. This was BEAUTIFUL work (!) and I guess you can tell by now, MORE than just a little-bit inspiring ;-) ! ALL the BEST to you guys going forward ! With your leave, I'd like to paraphrase and share some of these thoughts on another similar presentation, elsewhere on Y-T. What a WONDERFUL way to wrap up my Sunday evening ! THANKS !

The only thing keeping this from being perfect is that the ship should have visibly gone into warp. Aside from that... this was beautiful.

I dont get it. If it s afanbased mixed production, it has nothing to do with CBS.
