I had braces for 7 years and literally would eat anything besides whole apples and corn on the cob. Sometimes they would get out of place but only if i ate something extremely hard or if the brace wasn’t placed properly. And that probably happened about not more than 10 times. For the past 3 years I would eat anything and they never came off. Just gotta know how to take good care of them. Out of those 7 years about one or two years I didn’t have a dentist so I couldn’t get proper care and maintenance for them so I had to be very careful with them and that is why my procedure took so long (I had moved from my home country and we didn’t have enough money to afford a dentist at the time).
