This was from his concert in Dublin back in the 90's, and he is coming back this year.... if not get cancelled... again. I got my tickets for the show, but have yet to get flight tickets and book hotel room. I was thinking of travel to Dublin -> Glasgow -> London in a 3-4 weeks vecation. But I think it will just be 1, 5-2 weeks in Irland.

I am not a big country music fan, but I love Garth Brooks! I have all of his recordings, his songs are deep and inspirational and I love the love songs!

This song was on the radio when I was getting ready to leave for USMC boot camp. I would sing this song in my head when we were doing a run or on a hump (not dirty, it’s when we had our packs loaded 20/30 lbs on our backs) .
Every time I hear this song, I think of those days and I remember how scared I was during this time in my life, and by the end of the song, I feel strong and proud that I was able to get through USMC for 4 years as a woman, I am part of the “fewer” the prouder USMC Marines.

Bro, Garth is the man and he is definitely not retired. I just went to see him 2 weeks ago in Charlotte NC. I actually went Friday and Saturday. 2 nights of 40, 000 PLUS!! He is doing a bunch of shows in Ireland this coming September and you should do what you can to go. I'm going to check if you have your email address listed to send a few videos. He unretired in 2015 after his youngest left for college. He is finishing up his second massive tour this year. He's released three albums and and anthology and has a live show on facebook on Monday at 4 pacific. So you can tune in and see what he is up to if you like.

This simple, easy melody and the lyrics with these actually simple words, but so meaningful that it really makes you think. Nowadays perhaps even more, because we are still so limited in many ways and perhaps also have more time to think about a lot and to deal with ourselves🤔. The crowd diving was something special and also shows the deep trust he had👍👍. Yes, and that's for sure one of the great artists who left something special although he’s perhaps retired- just fantastic ☺️.
