As a Canadian who has always supported England. I am absolutely gutted for Tomori. He could have played every minute of his career in this golden generation Canadian team, who will subsequently qualify for at least the next two world cups. Instead he chose England for this waste-man as a manger. Let’s be honest neither country is winning the World Cup, should have picked Canada.

The ones I’m a bit pissed off with is Tomori not being there. And also Phillips being picked instead of Ward-Prowse. I’m confused by Gallagher but not upset by it.

I love Ben's assessment of England's opposition and how England should set up against them, yet he was part of England teams/squads that couldn't get it done against the same opposition 😂😂😂 Costa Rica 2014 springs to mind 🤣🤣🤣 The point is, he talks about it as if it's a done deal. He's turned into a casual armchair fan, when he should know better as he knows how complex it can be to bring a national squad together to take on other nations in a tournament format. Sort yourself out Ben!!!

The Wilson decision could of even been edged because trippier being ther and both on form, it must add to have that club partnership

The squad needs a balance between experienced tournament players and players currently in form. IMO Maguire as good as he has been for England should not be going because since last season he has not played well enough and this season he has been dropped altogether. We have the experience in players like pickford, walker, trippier, rice ect. Glad to see the likes of white, maddison, Wilson going as they have been superb this season. I would also argue that Philips should maybe not be going but when fit he does run through walls for us. Overall I'm fairly happy with the squad and think these players will be pushing each other, just as long as Southgate does rotate and not pick the same squad every game to keep the players on their toes.

For me, Tony should of went instead of Wilson BUT Wilson chases back alot more, which suits Southgates very defensive mindset.
i Have to agree with your selection of Tarkowski. the man is just so dependable, and even as a United supporter Maguire should of missed out. vast Majority of ex pros say, playing matches is so important for fitness. nothing gets close to getting a player to top fitness than 90 mins of football.
FOZZY, i just see a stat that De Gea has taken over your record as player to play the most minutes in premiership football.. shows how solid a keeper you were .

With Toney being investigated by the FA it's probably a safe choice for him not to go when he probably wouldn't have got any/many minutes

I’m scottish but what a squad you guys have. Imagine having so much choice of world class players. Good luck, but I reckon it’s a bottle job again. Southgate isn’t the manager to give you confidence but who knows
