The Incisor is very well-executed and I love the royalty-free wave that I hope other manufacturers start using so we can get lower prices without having to give Ernie his cut. The button lock, however, is a no-go for me. I've had a SOG button lock fail on me and I just ain't willing to party that hard.

I have several karambits. Fox, cold steel, emerson, 5.11 While I don't have the civivi my go to has always been my Fox 599. To me, it feels like the most solid and dependable karambit I have.

A Karambit is definitely on my list next, and prior to the Civivi i was gonna get a CRKT Provoke bc of how unique it was. But I think the Civivi will do just fine. You should absolutely do a video on how you do your awesome Karambit flair spins and how to practice them!

I have the fox dart, I recommend sanding the g10 in the side you carry the clip a bit to make the draw better.

At release, I bought the Civivi. I am not as coordinated, arthritis slows me down and nerve impingements make my grip less secure. The ring makes knives reasonably fast and secure. Normally, I carry fixed blades with the ring, but I handle this Civivi very easily.

I own a 479 and switched to the Defcon Raptor all black. That glass breaker and CF inlay make the release much better, but the fox knives deploy just a tad bit easier.

I love both Fox 599 and Civivi karambit! But I love the 5.11 folding karambit more.

Also you 1000% need to get a Reate Exo-K Gravity Karambit if you can find one!

Have you tested/ seen the L.E One of Lionsteel? (Way bigger blade, clipped point, integral, ...).
Cant decide what to go for.

Incisor 2 all the way! Liner locks suck ass. The Civivi is superior in almost every way.

Can you tell how you sharpen your karambits? I have the toughest time getting them back to a razor

A small bead of hot melt glue on the edge should turn the inscisor into a trainer in about five minutes, , , FOR FREE, WHY spend extra money, when you get good enough just peel it off, or even two or three layers of blue painters tape. Not a big deal, no need to spend an extra $120-$150 for something you can't cut with. Unless you just want the "I HAVE A TRAINER FACTOR", to each his own though, not knocking it, guess I'm more the "GET R DONE", person, would rather spend the extra money on another knife.
